The coordinators at Bradford Beach Soccer will be operating just a league format this summer (rather than a league and a tournament as in previous years). League details for the upcoming season can be found below. The full schedule can be found here.

- The league will kick-off Sunday July 8th, 2012

- Games are Sundays only at Bradford Beach

- The league will run for a 7 week spell, ending Sunday August 19th, 2012

- All teams will play at least six games.

- The league will end with the top teams competing in play-offs.

- Registration cost will be $350 per team.

- Teams will be awarded:

3 points: for a win
1 points: for a draw
0 points: for a loss

Basic Game Rules:

The following will be the basic games rules implemented for both league and one-day tournament play at Bradford Beach in 2012:

- 5 vs 5 (includes one goalkeeper)

- 10 player roster

- Three 9-minute periods.

- No throw-ins (all kick-ins)

- Pass-backs are allowed

- No offsides

- Jewelery is prohibited / Socks are permitted

- Red cards: a team must play down a man for the rest of the period

- Red cards: a team can return to full strength the following period, but the player sent off can not participate again in that game.

- Teams down by five goals can bring on an extra player

- "On-the-fly" unlimited substitutions

- Players will be required to sign a waiver in advance

- Players must be at least 18 years old for both the men's and co-ed leagues.

Individual registration cost is $60 per person, while team registration in $350.

If you are registering individually & looking for a team please fill the "team name" segment below with the words "Looking for a Team."

If you are registering as a team the person registering today (who's details will be listed below) will be designated as team captain and will responsible for organizing his/her team.

No Exclusive Bar Leagues in 2011

In 2011, Bradford Beach Soccer will be unifying teams sponsored by local pubs with our men's or co-ed leagues, rather than having an exclusive bar league like seasons past.

Upon registration, teams will be able to select whether they wish to play in one of our men's leagues or a co-ed league, regardless of whether they are representing a local bar establishment or not.

The decision comes in the wake of the competitiveness of the bar leagues in 2010, with the coordinators at BBS believing that uniting the leagues will benefit all involved.

Game Day Specials at Replay for All Players

Bradford Beach Soccer has partnered with Replay Sports Bar to bring exclusive game day drink specials to all those participating in this year's league and tournament weekend.

Replay, located at the corner of North and Farwell Avenues, will be offering all players specials the day they play their games (that is, before and after games). Bradford Beach Soccer will provide players with a coupon or wristband (to be determined) and players can then use this to get exclusive discounts at Replay.

The exact details are still being worked on by the Replay management, but it will likely be a Milwaukee tap special (i.e. $3 Lakefront pints). As soon as we have confirmation on the specials we'll be sure to post it here, so watch this space!

You may have 10 different players show each week - it's up to you as team captain who shows up - but you can not exceed the roster limit of ten players each week. All players will be required to sign a waiver before play and must be at least 18 years of age.
